About the Role:

FeverUp is seeking a seasoned Experiential Event Manager to lead and manage the operations of a large-scale, outdoor immersive experience in a major metropolitan area. This is a full-time, seasonal position that requires a high level of energy, motivation, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site management and operations of the experience, including daily management of staff and vendors
  • Develop and implement a process for a smooth daily run of the experience, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
  • Manage and coordinate schedules of vendors and staff members, including ambassador-level staff, staff manager, security, parking, and tech personnel within budget
  • Communicate and coordinate with venue staff and leadership daily
  • Manage and report staff payroll
  • Plan and execute weatherization plans
  • Operational budget control
  • Work alongside FeverUp's Executive Producer and Production Manager to ensure the continued quality of the show for the entirety of the run
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue
  • Handle any problems or special requests with guests
  • Handle guestlist and assist with guest check-in procedures
  • Weekly reporting on daily issues to management
  • Liaison between venue, partners, and FeverUp

Schedule and Compensation:

The contract will be for 6 months, with a variable schedule based on ticket sales. The experience will be open four days a week from 6 pm-10 pm, with several weeks of seven-day operations and holidays. The rate will be discussed during the interviewing process.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in a management position for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, or hospitality establishment with high foot traffic
  • Highly motivated and high energy profile
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to engage with the public
  • Ability to work autonomously and at initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan own time to maximize business performance
  • Licensed to work in the US
  • Based in the metropolitan area
