Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is seeking a Part-Time Autism Specialist to deliver exceptional behavioral services to children with autism in New Bedford, MA, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct intervention in home, school, and community settings.
  • Conduct parent/caregiver education and functional behavior assessments.
  • Create ABA programs tailored for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
  • Employ evidence-based Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions.
  • Collect behavioral data, complete progress notes, and handle case management.
  • Offer clinical direction, training, and support to Community Autism Services (CAS) ABA Behavior Technicians.
  • Provide supervised, professional experience to Community Autism Services (CAS) staff pursuing BCBA and RBT certification through group and individual supervision.
Requirements
  • Possess an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and Massachusetts license (LABA).
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule of in-person and virtual telehealth.
  • Flexible to work with combined home, school, and community caseloads.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaborative, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Previous experience in supervising ABA programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
  • Commitment to cultural competency in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Valid MA drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
