Honda Development and Manufacturing of America is a leading manufacturer of automotive products, and we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Suspension Design Specialist to design and develop suspension parts and systems that meet our high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Design suspension parts and systems using CAD software (CATIA V5/V6) and other tools.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets quality, performance, and reliability requirements.
  • Project Management
    • Plan and coordinate design activities with other teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, including milestones and trigger points.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Apply fundamental engineering principles to complex design problems.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical trends and advancements in suspension design.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate design progress and results to stakeholders, including management, peers, and suppliers.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure design meets quality and performance requirements.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in automotive suspension design and development.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5/V6) and other design tools.
    • Strong understanding of suspension design principles and practices.
