Key Responsibilities- Design and develop drive shaft parts and systems that meet performance, quality, and reliability targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, test, factory, purchasing, and suppliers, to plan and coordinate activities.
- Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, and trigger points, and share with related groups.
- Attend meetings, lead occasionally, and provide constructive thoughts while keeping track of open items.
- Review costs to ensure they meet design intentions and provide solutions if necessary.
- Model parts and systems in 3D and release 2D drawings and specifications using CATIA and MS Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- Co-op experience.
- CAD software (CATIA V5/V6) or closely related, Microsoft Office.
