Position Overview

Salary: $24/hr - $35/hr

The Animal Specialty Center is in search of a Licensed Veterinary Technician eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative veterinary facility. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of animals and their families in need of specialized radiation oncology services.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to collaborate within a skilled team specializing in veterinary oncology and imaging.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on maintaining efficient workflows.
  • Proficient in inducing, maintaining, and monitoring brief anesthetic procedures.
  • Skilled in discharging patients and discussing treatment plans and at-home care with clients.

Preferred qualifications include strong experience in patient care, anesthesia and surgery monitoring, in-house laboratory operations, venipuncture, and radiology. Extensive training will be provided, and experience in veterinary oncology is advantageous.

A positive attitude and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
