Position Overview

Salary: $24/hr - $35/hr

Animal Specialty Center is in search of a Licensed Veterinary Technician eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative medical facility. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of animals and their families seeking specialized oncology treatment.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Experience working collaboratively within a team of veterinary oncology and imaging experts.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining efficient workflows.
  • Skills in inducing, maintaining, and monitoring brief anesthetic procedures.
  • The ability to discharge patients and review treatment plans with clients.

Preferred qualifications include strong experience in patient care, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory operations, venipuncture, and radiology. Extensive training will be provided, and experience in veterinary oncology is advantageous.

A positive attitude and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
