As a Behavior Interventionist, you'll play a vital role in our mission by implementing behavior-analytic strategies developed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You'll work directly with children in various settings – homes, schools, clinics, and communities – to help them achieve their developmental goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Implement positive behavior strategies as outlined by the BCBA, focusing on reinforcement techniques and individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with families to create a supportive environment that fosters learning and growth.
  • Conduct data collection and documentation to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Assist in assessments through preference assessments and data analysis.

What You Know:

  • You have experience working with children, demonstrating a passion for their development and well-being.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • You hold a High School Diploma/GED, bachelor's degree in human services (or related), or master's degree.
  • You are a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) or are committed to obtaining the BCAT credential through Cortica's paid training program.
