Position Available:
We are currently seeking an Optical Equipment Maintenance Specialist.

Shifts Offered:
M1A: Sun 6am-12pm, Mon-Wed 6am-6pm
M2A: Sun 6pm-12am, Mon-Wed 6pm-6am
M1B: Sun 12pm-6pm, Thur-Sat 6am-6pm
M2B: Mon 12am-6am, Thur-Sat 6pm-6am

Compensation:
Starting at $26 per hour, with additional shift differentials up to 20% and a signing bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal equipment functionality through scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Conduct calibration and verify that testing standards meet required tolerances.
- Oversee the repair and calibration of essential tools and measurement devices.
- Maintain and update calibration methods and procedures as necessary.
- Ensure control and traceability of tooling within the shop and with external vendors.
- Provide training on calibration processes as required.
- Liaise with vendors for machine repair and diagnostic support.
- Install various types of optical equipment and collaborate with engineers as needed.
- Interpret engineering schematics and procedures for machine diagnostics.
- Uphold OSHA safety standards in the operational environment.
- Assist with general building maintenance as required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Background in optical machinery, automotive, or maintenance is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift).
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical documentation.
- Experience with basic computer applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment repairs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed in forklift and scissor lift operations, with a focus on safety.
- Technical certification is preferred.
