Position Overview:
Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is on the lookout for a proficient and knowledgeable Automotive Maintenance Specialist to enhance our team.
In this role, you will be tasked with executing standard maintenance procedures and oil changes on various vehicles, along with supporting additional automotive services.
This is a part-time opportunity offering competitive hourly wages within the automotive sector.Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18 to $25 per hour, with weekly payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct essential automotive services including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot customer vehicles, pinpointing any potential concerns or suggested repairs.
- Keep a tidy and systematic work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.
- Effectively communicate with service advisors and clients to provide updates on services and any suggested repairs.
- Guarantee that all services are performed accurately and efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Regularly enhance knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance practices through training sessions and workshops.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines within the workshop and on the premises.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Lube Technician or in a comparable role within the automotive field.
- Understanding of automotive systems and maintenance practices.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
