Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Logistics and Transportation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at IMC Companies LLC. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading business analysis and project management for major corporate programs, navigating complex software configurations, multi-platform applications, and system integration challenges across various development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Business Analysis and Project Management: Develop and deliver effective presentations to and negotiate with executive-level business partners and IT executives to ensure that projects are accurately designed, strategically planned, and successfully delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with business partners, IT support functions, and other business analysts to evaluate business opportunities and translate intricate business concepts into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Develop and Execute Test Scripts: Lead the development and execution of test scripts to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Manage Project Schedules and Status Reporting: Use PMI or Agile methodologies to lead activities, including the development of project schedules, status reporting, issue management, and other required tasks.
  • Monitor Project Spending and Budgets: Track project spending against budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure Compliance with IMC Development Process: Ensure that all project deliverables and the creation and review of documentation comply with the IMC development process.
  • Contribute to a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements where appropriate to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Mentor Others: Mentor others on all aspects of the Business Analyst role within IMC Companies LLC.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 Years of Progressive Qualifying Work Experience: 5-8 years of progressive qualifying work experience in information technology or a business environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • Financial Systems and ERP Experience: Financial systems and ERP experience.
  • Relevant Business and IT Knowledge: Relevant business and IT knowledge and experience within the transportation/drayage industry.
  • Expert Knowledge of IT and Business Partner Strategies: Expert knowledge of IT and business partner strategies.
  • Large Scale Complex Project or Program Experience: Large scale complex project or program experience in either application development, project management, or business analysis experience.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills for engaging at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Proven Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills: Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven Mentoring Skills: Proven mentoring skills.
  • Proven Analytical Skills: Proven analytical skills on projects in complex scales.
  • Availability to Travel: Availability to travel when needed.
