Position Overview:

Reports to: Store Manager

The Senior Retail Supervisor role is vital to the overall success of the store, exemplifying the behaviors necessary to influence all facets of our business: Sales and Operational Processes. This individual demonstrates outstanding performance, not only through their work but also by embodying the highest standards of Coach. They are versatile, capable of adapting to various roles within the retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Aligns decisions with organizational objectives in collaboration with Store and Assistant Store Managers.
  • Models and cultivates a team culture that meets Coach's Selling and Service expectations.
  • Implements sales strategies and initiatives to drive growth across all product categories.
  • Collaborates with management to adjust business strategies and personal selling techniques to enhance store performance.
  • Utilizes floor supervision to achieve strong sales metrics, remaining focused on results through team engagement.
  • Accountable for personal sales performance and motivates the sales team to meet targets.
  • Enhances clienteling strategies alongside management to achieve business goals.
  • Builds trust with team members and customers, acting as a personal fashion consultant.
  • Maintains a professional appearance consistent with Coach's standards.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador in the local market to foster brand loyalty.
  • Adapts to customer and team needs with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Develops product knowledge and stays informed about current collections.
  • Recognizes the impact of staffing on sales and recruits accordingly.
  • Coaches and motivates the team to utilize company tools effectively, fostering individual growth.
  • Welcomes feedback and sets personal development goals.
  • Provides constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

Operations:

  • Oversees daily operational tasks in accordance with Coach standards, adapting to business needs.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and effective communication with supervisors.
  • Maintains the store's interior and exterior with support from corporate resources.
  • Utilizes retail systems and reporting tools for informed decision-making.
  • Adheres to all retail policies and procedures.
  • Employs technology to support client relationships and sales efforts.
  • Collaborates with management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensures all daily tasks are completed while maintaining service standards.

Additional Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail systems.
  • Physical ability to perform retail tasks, including lifting and moving products.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.
