Job Summary

As an Executive Chef with Compass Group, North America, you will play a key role in supporting the culinary functions for a corporate dining account. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of associates, overseeing all safety and sanitation protocols, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Control and Expenditure Management: Manage and control costs associated with the account, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Menu Planning and Creation: Plan and create menus that meet the needs and preferences of the account's clients, while also ensuring compliance with nutritional and dietary guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Purchase and manage inventory, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available to meet the demands of the account.
  • Culinary Program Development: Collaborate with the marketing and culinary teams to develop and implement new culinary programs, including menu launches and special events.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary Degree: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Culinary Management Experience: Three to five years of experience in culinary management, with a focus on high-volume production and catering.
  • Cost Control Experience: Previous experience managing cost controls and expenditures, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Desire to Learn and Grow: A desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
