We are looking for candidates who possess:
- The ability to engage positively with residents and facility staff to foster supportive relationships
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of relevant state, federal, and county regulations regarding nutrition and food service
- Proficient clinical nutrition skills, including assessment, intervention, and monitoring
- An understanding of MDS section K, care planning, and the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM)
- Competence in electronic medical records and basic computer operations
- The capability to work independently while addressing client and resident needs within the professional scope
- Current registration as a dietitian nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and appropriate licensure as required by state regulations
