Job Summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time Community Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian and a strong working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and evaluate nutritional and medical history, laboratory data, test results, current medications, and current diet orders to determine participant's estimated nutritional needs.
  • Recommend and implement nutrition interventions to assist in maintaining or improving nutritional-related medical diagnoses.
  • Complete nutrition assessments for participants per regulatory guidelines and when needed to assist in developing participant's plan of care and service delivery requests.
  • Instruct participants, family members, staff, and contracted providers/facilities on diet, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Document pertinent participant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and the participant plan of care.
  • Occasionally supervise dietetic interns.
Requirements
  • 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
