Job Summary

The Resident Services Coordinator is a key member of our team at Morgan Properties, responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our multifamily properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager with handling resident processes and concerns, including administrative work related to resident services.
  • Have a working knowledge of leasing and management policies, accounting, maintenance, and resident retention policies and programs.
  • Responsible for resident files, including renewals and resident retention programs, resident follow-up, and lease changes.
  • Back up the Property Manager on paperwork and verifications, and assist with answering phones and maintaining resident information.
  • Communicate with residents about service requests and scheduled work, and plan and host resident events and activities.
  • Prepare and send renewals and addenda, follow up with residents, and maintain records.
  • Process notices to vacate and assist residents with lease breaks, in-house transfers, and smooth moves.
  • Perform monthly property inspections and send correction notices, and oversee the completion of required staff safety training.
  • Assist with filing and maintain the filing system, and record all resident correspondences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 2-5 years of related experience or a combination of both.
  • Sales and/or customer service experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Yardi Property Management software experience a plus.
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
