Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and leadership to our Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) and Mental Health Intensive Case Management (MHICM) Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed mental health professionals and support staff in the PRRC and MHICM Program.
  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and services to our veterans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for veterans with serious mental illness.
  • Conduct regular program evaluations and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in counseling or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) in the state of employment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterans, families, and healthcare providers.
