Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Family Restoration Services. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing on-going assessment, crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, and case management to emotionally disabled youth and their families.

Job Description:

Summary of Position:

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide therapeutic interventions to youth and families, focusing on restoring optimal health to the body, mind, and spirit. This includes developing and monitoring service plans, monitoring treatment progress, documenting interactions, and maintaining clinical records and other reporting data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide services to clients as assigned, including crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, and case management.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external supportive services to deliver needed services to clients.
  • Advocate for clients in various forums, including court systems, family, and school settings.
  • Assist clients in improving their well-being and quality of life through training in behavioral skills, education, and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies.
  • Complete written treatment plans, updates, and continuing care plans, as well as maintain client records in accordance with agency standards.
  • Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision, and other required meetings as assigned.
  • Conduct screening, intakes, and assessments of clients using required instruments and formats.
  • Must have access to a personal computer to access case documentation and maintain high-quality documentation of all casework.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of counseling experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth and their families, as well as adults with varying mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance abuse.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Professional-Resident (LMHP-R).
  • Current license in Counseling.
  • CAQH attested and up to date is highly recommended to speed up agency-specific credentialing.
  • Current certifications in crisis management, CPR, and First Aid.
