About the Role

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at our Mental Health Clinic in East Hampton. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group therapy to children, families, and adults with a range of mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to adults, adolescents, and children, addressing mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record system, adhering to NYS Office of Mental Health standards.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work (MSW) or related field.
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting, with clinic experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM V and experience with behavioral/therapeutic interventions for diverse populations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred.
