Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team at The Kennedy Group, LLC. As a QMHP, you will provide direct services to individuals receiving services from our organization, working under the supervision of the Program Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to identified individuals, including planning and implementing cognitive behavioral programming, individualized behavior modification programs, and monitoring progress.
  • Assist in planning services, provide parent education and support, and coordinate scheduling of appointments and transportation as needed.
  • Be available for 24-hour crisis intervention and family support, and maintain confidentiality of records relating to consumers' treatment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs and clients' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.
  • Maintain regular and ongoing contact with referring agencies, as well as other agencies involved in individual and family cases.
Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field and one year of clinical experience working directly with individuals identified as part of the target population.
  • QMHP-C certified or eligible.
  • Proficient knowledge in the causes and symptoms of mental health issues, prevention strategies, needs and risk assessment, substance abuse, family dynamics, the impact of trauma, crisis management, and case management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and community agencies.
