Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft Integration Specialist to contribute to our projects in a remote setting. In this role, you will be essential in crafting and executing integration strategies that improve our enterprise-level electronic health record systems, akin to the accomplishments of VistA Imaging in VA healthcare facilities.

Note: All candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders, as we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the development, testing, and maintenance of the MuleSoft platform.
  • Engage with stakeholders to collect integration requirements and convert them into technical documentation.
  • Design, develop, and sustain MuleSoft-driven integration solutions that handle various data types, including clinical images, scanned documents, and motion videos, integrating them into electronic health records.
  • Utilize the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to set up APIs, policies, and connectors that guarantee efficient and secure data handling.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to diagnose and rectify integration challenges, enhancing system performance and dependability.
Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

At least 5 years of practical experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ideally within the healthcare sector or a similar field.

Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.

Strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns and industry best practices.

Experience with Salesforce integration via MuleSoft or comparable platforms.

Familiarity with DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standards and medical image databases.

Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active VA clearance is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Salesforce Administration and/or development is a plus.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or healthcare IT solutions.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging technologies and standards.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
