Human Resources Coordinator

Cahill Contractors is on the lookout for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator. This role will report directly to the Senior HR Manager and play a vital part in helping Cahill attract, retain, and enhance the capabilities of our most valuable resource, our workforce. This is a non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Post job vacancies and develop interview strategies within our Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse.
  • Coordinate interview schedules through our ATS, Greenhouse.
  • Support Cahill's involvement in career fairs and recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing activities for Cahill's summer internship program.
  • Represent Cahill at recruitment events.
  • Coordinate background checks and reference verifications.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for office personnel.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with the annual open enrollment process.
  • Prepare reports for various benefit programs and annual summaries.
  • Serve as backup for HR Generalist regarding benefits inquiries and modifications throughout the year.

Payroll Administration:

  • Act as backup for payroll concerning employment verification.
  • Generate employment verification letters.
  • Collaborate with payroll on employee-related changes.
  • Monitor employee vacation accruals.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee compliance with city, state, and federal regulations and manage necessary postings.
  • Track employee compliance training and coordinate necessary training sessions.
  • Maintain organized HR documentation.

Management of HR Technology:

  • Administer Viewpoint as a combined HRIS/payroll system.
  • Keep performance management software (Lattice) data current.
  • Manage employee information in our learning management system (Absorb).
  • Maintain the HR Standard Operating Procedures manual.

Employee Experience and Retention:

  • Assist in organizing HR events and training sessions.
  • Coordinate the procurement and inventory management of promotional items with the marketing team.
  • Support various HR projects as needed.
  • Act as a reliable resource for employees.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.

Benefits:

  • This is a full-time direct-hire position with a hybrid work model.
  • In addition to a competitive salary, an annual discretionary performance-based bonus is offered.
  • Cahill covers 100% of monthly premiums for employee medical, dental, and vision coverage for HMO and PPO plans, with options for family coverage.
  • Additional benefits include a wellness stipend, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.

The base hourly range for this non-exempt role is targeted between $33.65.
