We're seeking a highly skilled Manager, Orientation and Development Professional to join our team at Bright Horizons Children's Centers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and leadership experience, with a proven track record of developing and facilitating adult learning and training programs.
The Manager, Orientation and Development will be responsible for developing and managing orientation, professional development, and resources related to educational leadership for center/school leaders and teachers.
This is a remote position that requires travel up to ten times a year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage orientation and development materials, programs, and resources for center leadership and employees.
- Think strategically and be innovative about how professional development, orientation, and training can contribute to company and department goals.
- Manage all aspects of a project from proposal stage to production, ensuring quality assurance, usability, implementation, and application support.
- Participate in the development of materials and resources, including webinars, asynchronous training, and job aids.
- Understand and follow all IACET standards and contribute to CEU approval and standard assessment process.
- Coordinate work of outside vendors involved with project development, including selection, management, and billing.
- Use needs assessment methods to analyze learning needs and determine effective learning interventions.
- Design solutions that lead to learning transfer.
- Understand levels of measurement, design measurement tools and strategies, assess results, and make decisions based on measurement results.
- Design and develop professional development and training programs using instructional design principles and the ADDIE or SAM model.
- Coordinate and manage the development process with the curriculum and education team, SMEs, and other internal teams.
- Assist with educational and development aspects of conferences, including presentation of workshops and other training activities.
- Collaborate with other departments on special projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5 years of experience in developing and facilitating adult learning and training.
- Demonstrated training facilitation skills.
- Basic computer software skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong background in early childhood education with early childhood leadership experience.
- Strong writing skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- E-learning and webinar facilitation experience preferred.
Additional Information:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and training.
