Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager

Join Talis Group, Inc. as a Customer Relationship Manager and be part of a leading distributor of equine products. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to manage Dealer Partners and ensure their success in the Shelbyville, KY area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of markets in assigned region
  • Foster and maintain long-term relationships with partners
  • Work closely with dealers in assigned region to ensure they have everything needed for optimal success
  • Respond to potential new dealers within your region
  • Review daily order activity of sales area
  • Assist in problem solving by identifying substitutions or replacements if needed
  • Assist in communications with dealers regarding any issues like order/stock situations
  • Attend/Conduct dealer events and provide information/feedback regarding product enhancements/development
  • Assist with developing marketing plans and strategies
  • Record all interactions using CRM system
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in inside and/or outside sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be customer focused with the ability to listen and learn
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving
  • Ability to work individually and as a team
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role. Approximately 25 – 30%
  • Helpful but not required: familiarity with equine industry practices, terminology, and products
