Job Summary

Talis Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our sales team in the Shelbyville, KY area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Dealer Partners and ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of markets in assigned regions
  • Foster and maintain long-term relationships with partners, prioritizing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate closely with dealers to ensure they have everything needed for optimal success, including product training and support
  • Respond promptly to potential new dealers within your region, providing timely and effective communication
  • Review daily order activity of sales areas, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Assist in problem-solving by identifying substitutions or replacements as needed, ensuring seamless customer experiences
  • Communicate effectively with dealers regarding any issues, such as order or stock situations, providing timely resolutions
  • Attend and conduct dealer events, providing valuable information and feedback on product enhancements and development
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans and strategies, aligning with company goals and objectives
  • Record all interactions using our CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information
Requirements
  • Proven track record in inside and/or outside sales, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and partners
  • Must be customer-focused, with the ability to listen and learn from customers, dealers, and partners
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role, approximately 25-30%
  • Familiarity with the equine industry, its practices, terminology, and products is a plus, but not required
