As a Program Control Buyer – ICE Engine Units, you will be instrumental in sourcing high-quality components and services globally while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee the timely and quality delivery of Unit Milestone Deliverables, including Commodity Planning, Target Setting, and Sourcing.
  • Assist in achieving Contribution Cost & Investment Targets through accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure material costs are managed effectively, maintaining or improving upon previous benchmarks.
Key Activities

You will lead various initiatives, including:

  • Conducting weekly Supply Chain Program Reviews and Cross-Functional Team Reviews to ensure alignment and timely sourcing.
  • Facilitating meetings for New Tooled End Items (NTEI) and supporting Program Planning sessions.
  • Performing desktop studies to assess capacity and lead ad hoc analyses related to global sourcing and cost assessments.
  • Monitoring compliance with USMCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with Cost Estimating and Supplier Technical Assistance teams to ensure readiness for new contracts and robust supplier capabilities.
Your Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Robust analytical skills and the capability to deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following would be advantageous:

  • Experience in Production Buying and Program Control/Execution.
  • Familiarity with GPDS timing and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of iERP/Ariba systems.
