We are seeking an experienced State and Local Tax Manager to join our team at ManpowerGroup Inc. in Westminster, CO. This is a full-time, 6-month contract role with potential to perm hire, offering a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze tax laws and track legislative changes that can impact our business.
  • Create and implement tax policies, processes, and tax financial reporting and record keeping.
  • Manage a team supporting state and local direct and indirect tax department of three.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Preferred Master.
  • 8 years of experience in a role that has mostly focused on State & Local Tax.
  • Must have experience doing multi-state consolidated Income Tax Returns using Corp Tax.
  • Prefer Income/Franchise experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Alteryx would be a plus.
  • Strong experience in Income/Franchise tax, Sales and Use tax, and Property tax. Managing Compliance, Audit, Provision Reporting, Appeals and Abatements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
  • Hourly rate of $65 to $75 an hour with Direct Deposit.
  • Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to perm hire with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee.
