About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Professional to join our team at Iris Software Inc. as a Sr. IT Sales Hunter. This is a full-time role that requires a strong background in direct sales, with a proven track record of quota attainment and new logo acquisition experience in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to grow relationships and create new opportunities to position Iris as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Customize engagement models to suit client requirements and deliver engagements on a multi-year roadmap.
  • Engage with client stakeholders in domain and technology specific dialogue to promote Iris business interests.
  • Manage and lead the Iris team at the customer location, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Update management on potential risks, issues, and opportunities in an account, and handle escalations and negotiations as required.
  • Practice a disciplined approach to forecast revenue and manage profitability of the account(s).
  • Lead consulting and delivery teams through client environments, aligning their conduct and activities to promote Iris business interests.
  • Set priority tasks for daily prospecting and outreach, capturing outcomes and tracking sales performance.
  • Build a point of view on how to help qualify customers' needs, and manage a high volume of inbound/outbound engagement with a strategy on prioritization of leads.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and other reporting tools.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities, and develop and maintain records of customer activity for reporting of sales and forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years relevant work experience in direct sales for new logo customers (hunting) with a proven record of quota attainment.
  • New logo acquisition experience in the insurance industry.
  • Ability to manage high volume of work while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
  • Team player with excellent communication, customer service, and relationship building/maintaining skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of personalities.
  • Ability to travel as required by customers.
