Position Overview

Form Energy is seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager to oversee the procurement of indirect goods and services utilized across all our facilities. This position demands a strategic mindset and robust analytical capabilities to manage supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal quality and cost-effectiveness.

As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will facilitate factory scaling by developing and implementing global sourcing strategies for categories such as maintenance, professional services, IT, facilities, and travel. You will communicate procurement strategies and performance metrics to the executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate clear strategies and roadmaps for the supply and scaling of indirect materials and services across Form Energy's locations.
  • Establish relationships with a diverse supplier base and preferred vendors capable of meeting Form's requirements.
  • Negotiate favorable terms that optimize total cost of ownership, lead time, and risk management by overseeing the entire process from supplier identification to contract negotiation.
  • Develop should-cost targets and benchmarks for all indirect spending categories.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of Form's manufacturing processes, facility maintenance, safety standards, and relevant service and material suppliers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-8 years of experience in strategic consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating proposals and formulating recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and negotiations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to make informed decisions with limited information.
