Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Service Manager to join our team at Tutor Me Education. As a key member of our operations, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and coordinating on-site tutoring programs for thousands of students across Los Angeles.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and communicative individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining organized records and prompt communications. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of academic services to students and their families, as well as fostering an environment of open communication to ensure positive conflict resolution.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years' progressive career growth experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications. A history of maintaining organized records, well-documented and prompt communications, and diligent notes is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery:
    • Ensure effective delivery of outstanding academic services to students and their families
    • Ensure success of our tutor team through on-site training, coaching, and professional development
    • Manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet company efficiency and usage targets
    • Monitor student academic progress on both individual and groupwide scale
    • Conduct conferences with stakeholders to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments
    • Foster an environment of open communication with students and parents to ensure positive and effective conflict resolution
    • Handle other tasks as-needed to ensure high-quality services are delivered
  • Administration:
    • Actively support and oversee Regional Operations through timely submission of reports, diligent note-taking, and efficient task prioritization
    • Operate seamlessly in a remote-first management environment
    • Provide virtual administrative support to Regional Operations including answering phones, managing daily business data, and logging detailed notes of communications with schools, tutors, and staff
    • Ensure time management in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Big-Picture:
    • Maintain operational excellence standards including personnel, financial, and academic standards
    • Help ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives
Requirements

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
