Job Summary:

The IT Technician II role at TeamLogic IT, Frisco, TX, is a dynamic position that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' computer systems and providing top-notch technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective resolution of end-user issues via phone, email, or web portal.
  • Provision new hires with necessary hardware and software.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when necessary.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components.
  • Ensure antivirus software is up to date and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
  • Ensure company safety and security standards are met.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or 3 years equivalent work experience.
  • Office 365 administration experience.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
  • Active Directory knowledge is a plus.
  • Some knowledge and understanding of networking devices and appliances.
  • Kaseya RMM and Autotask PSA Experience a plus.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
  • CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
