Job Title: Project Environmental Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Environmental Scientist to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for managing field projects involving investigations and remediation of hazardous waste sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Perform sampling of environmental media, including soil, water, waste, and air
  • Conduct chemical and physical screening of samples in the field and ship samples to laboratories for analysis
  • Evaluate analytical results and prepare reports of investigations and removal actions
  • Participate as an on-call emergency responder for assessment of oil and hazardous materials releases
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, with a focus on geology preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental field work, including leading field work, site management, project management, and writing reports
  • HAZWOPER 40 certification and medical clearance
