Compensation Rate: $28.96 per hour
Role Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will excel in managing a variety of complex and confidential administrative tasks to support the sales department. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with various stakeholders, proactively address challenges, and keep your team informed about ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs while striving for excellence in all hotel operations
- Assist the sales department by managing general inquiries via phone, email, and mail
- Handle a high volume of incoming communications, manage mail distribution, perform photocopying, prepare reports, and send faxes
- Support special projects as required, maintain organized filing systems, and manage schedules for appointments, travel, and meetings while ensuring a professional atmosphere
- Audit data input in the sales system and ensure compliance with operational guidelines
- Establish and implement effective administrative systems and procedures
- Assist with the preparation of monthly expense reports for Sales Managers
- Pre-qualify incoming leads to ensure timely responses from sales managers
- Support customer proposals and contracts as needed
- Coordinate site alerts for customer visits
- Perform data entry into the sales platform
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Your qualifications and skills include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Opera and Delphi systems is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities efficiently
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in hospitality sales is advantageous
