Job Overview

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in facilitating the sales and operational functions of the organization. This position is essential for addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Sub-Function: Inside Sales

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints promptly.
  • Generate and distribute all necessary sales documentation including invoices, contracts, and packing lists.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and elevate issues as needed to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide requested data and documentation to customers and other branches.
  • Regularly follow up with customers and internal teams regarding open issues.
  • Report any conditions that may negatively impact customer satisfaction.
  • Handle after-hours calls as required, documenting complaints for resolution.
  • May be responsible for opening and closing operational facilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a keen attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and collaborative skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Infor, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Understanding of operational processes relevant to the rental industry.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in an Inside Sales role or similar, preferably within the construction equipment or safety rental sectors.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
