Position Overview - Java Developer

Location: Flexible

Our Mission

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer responsible for hands-on coding and the development of web/server applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient coding skills in Java/J2EE technologies, with experience in Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot 2, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Batch, Multi-Threading, JPA2, Hibernate, and Spring JDBC.
  • Knowledge of Spring Security (OAuth, LDAP) and experience with API Gateway solutions.
  • Expertise in developing REST APIs and a solid understanding of web services and standards such as REST/JSON.
  • Experience with real-time messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, or Event-driven architecture.
  • Proficient in using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Maven, and container technologies like Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Unit testing experience with frameworks such as Mockito, PowerMock, and Junit.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle and MSSQL Server.
  • Experience with Python, SFTP, and data encryption.
  • Ability to write scalable code in Python for data pipeline creation.
  • Experience with data modeling libraries such as pandas and numpy for report generation.
  • Proficient in creating REST API endpoints using FastAPI in Python.
  • Familiarity with popular Python frameworks including Django, Flask, or Pyramid.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Java/Java 8, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, Microservices, JPA/Hibernate.
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs on Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, Active MQ, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
  • Experience with Oracle or MSSQL Server.
  • Proficiency in Python 3.
