Position Overview - Java Developer
Location: Flexible
Our Objective
We are in search of a Senior Java Developer who will engage in hands-on coding and the development of web/server applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient coding skills in Java/J2EE technologies, with experience in Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot 2, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Batch, Multi-Threading, JPA2, Hibernate, and Spring JDBC.
- Knowledge of Spring Security (OAuth, LDAP) and understanding of Authentication and Authorization, including API Gateway technologies.
- Experience in crafting REST APIs and a solid grasp of web services and standards such as REST/JSON.
- Experience with real-time messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, or Event-driven architecture (JMS, Pubsub, etc.).
- Proficient in using Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins, Maven, and container orchestration tools like Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker.
- Unit testing expertise using frameworks such as Mockito, PowerMock, and Junit.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, including frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong understanding of Relational Databases, including Oracle and MSSQL Server.
- Experience with Python, SFTP, and Encryption techniques.
- Ability to write scalable code in Python for file-driven data pipelines.
- Familiarity with data modeling libraries such as pandas and numpy for report generation.
- Experience in creating REST API endpoints using Python libraries like FastAPI.
- Knowledge of popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.

- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs on Spring Boot, as well as web services/SOAP.
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, Active MQ, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD Pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
- Experience with Oracle or MSSQL Server.
- Proficient in Python 3.
