POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Development Manager is accountable for achieving sales objectives by effectively executing the responsibilities outlined below. This role involves appointing, directing, and supporting sales channels across various industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs within the designated territory. The individual will formulate sales strategies and tactics to enhance the market position of KROHNE products and solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support sales channels across all industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs within the designated territory.
  2. Establish project funnel targets for all regions and sales channels; responsible for achieving project targets within the region.
  3. Collaborate with sales managers in their pursuit of sales projects to create pursuit teams, conduct stakeholder analysis, and develop strategies to secure projects.
  4. Oversee the project process, including qualification, development, negotiation, and execution with all involved parties.
  5. Lead projects exceeding $250,000 in value.
  6. Ensure sales managers and sales channels are accountable for maintaining their project funnel, pipeline, and target achievement.
  7. Conduct presentations at the customer and executive levels with relevant stakeholders as necessary for project pursuits.
  8. Utilize sales and marketing software and CRM tools as directed by management for sales planning, actions, and pursuits while developing effective strategies.
  9. Complete E-learning modules regularly as required by management. Review published technical and sales communications for technical understanding.
  10. Travel approximately 60% within the assigned region to effectively perform essential duties and travel as required by management to corporate offices or other KROHNE locations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct reports but requires collaboration with sales managers, representatives, and distributors throughout North America and Latin America.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; plus four or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A thorough understanding of project pursuit and process control concepts and product applications gained through education and practical experience is essential.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrated experience with a high level of PC literacy, familiar with business application software (e.g., MS Office, MS CRM Dynamics, Access, PowerPoint), particularly presentation programs.

A clean driving record is required. Must be legally able to operate a vehicle independently as well as with sales channel partners. Required to provide driving record and insurance coverage documentation as deemed necessary by current policies.

Ability to obtain a US Passport, TWIC card, and other certifications as required.
