Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager in all aspects of the warehouse operation, including freight movement, inventory control, and team management.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all work activities related to freight flow, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
  • Manage and coach the warehouse agents and warehouse agent seniors to ensure they are meeting performance standards and providing excellent customer service.
  • Lead the daily team huddles and participate in warehouse leads meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving freight allocation, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checks all orders for special requests, and posts inventory records.
  • Provide daily warehouse inventory checks and maintain damage records and backorder logs.
  • Comply with all security and compliance rules, including internal policies and procedures, and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.
Requirements
  • 2 years of industry-specific knowledge and experience in warehouse operations.
  • Hazardous Materials Certification (preferred).
  • Self-reflecting and open to feedback, with initiative and ability to work in autonomy.
  • Proven leadership attitude and background, with effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Fluent in English.
