Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at GPAC, a leading recruitment company in the industry. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Direct and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team of field staff, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative environment where open communication and teamwork are prioritized.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control procedures, conducting regular site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards and project requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and project managers, providing clear and timely updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues or obstacles that could impact project timelines or quality, developing and implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep the project on track.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly adhered to on-site, conducting safety meetings and enforcing safety practices to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily logs, incident reports, and project documentation.
- Client and Community Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, local communities, and regulatory agencies, representing the company professionally and upholding our reputation for integrity and quality.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in ground-up commercial projects, with a proven track record in managing a variety of project types.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required, with relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) being a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team, excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities, and demonstrated proficiency in project management software and construction processes.
- Mindset: A proactive, independent approach with a strong commitment to achieving project goals, ability to work autonomously while embracing a collaborative, team-oriented culture, and a dedication to upholding company values and contributing to a supportive work environment.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $85,000 to $150,000, comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan and company match, and paid time off.
