Position Overview

** FTE, 24 or 36 hrs/week, day/night rotation, every third weekend, every third holiday**

Seeking experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year in critical care settings.

Competitive base pay starting at $34/hr

The role involves facilitating patients' transitions through their care journey efficiently and safely, prioritizing quality and safety. Responsibilities include delegating, directing, and overseeing patient care while ensuring it is developmentally appropriate. The position requires adherence to professional nursing standards and patient advocacy as per the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, along with maintaining a valid Ohio Nursing License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care through a Family-Centered approach.
  • Evaluate individual patient needs and communicate care priorities to the healthcare team.
  • Plan, implement, educate, and assess care based on Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Employ Therapeutic Communication while addressing the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
  • Participate in workplace initiatives by staying informed of changes, engaging in data collection, and contributing to Quality Improvement efforts.
  • Document care in accordance with organizational standards and protocols.
Qualifications

Education: BSN required; Associate degree with a commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of employment.

Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.

Certifications: Current CPR certification is mandatory. Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain additional certifications as required by management.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent typing, phone use, and walking; occasional sitting, standing, and lifting. Ability to independently lift up to 35 lbs and assist in moving or repositioning patients with support.
