Compensation Package
$15,000 sign-on bonus
$5.00 shift differential
Work Schedule
7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
Additional compensation for night shifts, evenings, and weekends
Position Overview
The Surgical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for data collection, assessment, and the development and execution of individualized care plans within the surgical unit. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, age-appropriate care. Effective delegation to team members and accurate, timely documentation are essential components of this role. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is also a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program; BSN preferred.
- Valid nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Preferred certifications in specialty areas; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Self-insured organization with low annual deductibles ($250 for single, $500 for family). After meeting these deductibles, all services are covered at 100%.
