Job Overview
The role of the Field Operations Consultant involves conducting thorough evaluations of restaurant standards, including Operations Excellence Assessments and Food Safety visits. You will assess restaurant performance in relation to customer experience and operational standards. This position also focuses on developing comprehensive skills across all restaurant operations through continuous assessment, training, and development.

  • Conducts thorough evaluations (e.g., Running Great Restaurants Visits, Food Safety Visits, Operations Excellence Assessments) to assess restaurant performance in terms of customer experience and operational standards.
  • Safeguards the McDonald's brand by identifying potential issues that could affect customer experience and brand perception.
  • Enhances operational excellence by pinpointing restaurants that do not comply with McDonald's Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards.
  • Fosters a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations through ongoing training and certification in designated areas of expertise.
  • Develops deep expertise in restaurant operations, providing expert coaching and root cause analysis to franchisees.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, offering support to restaurants on specific operational initiatives.
  • Utilizes expertise to drive guest counts, sales, and cash flow through support of operations and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Franchise Business Partners to create a comprehensive restaurant consulting toolkit, monitor key metrics, and drive business results.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized reports and evaluations.
  • Effective time management skills to handle a demanding evaluation and travel schedule.
  • A quick learning ability to develop a broad understanding of restaurant systems and deep expertise in specific areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with franchisees and restaurant managers.
  • Leadership qualities with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to recognize patterns and develop insights around common restaurant performance challenges.
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma.
