Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Foodservice Sales Team by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth operations. This role is essential for helping the team achieve sales goals and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Create customer contracts and set up new items in the system. Maintain and update customer records and sales databases, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Compile and maintain sales reports, track wins, provide team updates, and conduct ad hoc analysis, including gap assessments.
  • Respond to inquiries related to products, credits, order status, invoicing, pricing, and inventory from customers and the sales team promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Help organize and coordinate food shows, trade events, sales meetings, and other promotional activities.
  • Process sample requests, ensuring proper follow-up by tracking arrivals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior similar internship experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze data and reports.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Strong interest in food; passion for culinary trends and product knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
