Cybersecurity Engineer

This role involves the engineering and management of layered security systems for both on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security integration and incident management across various operating systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering, operating, and managing security measures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Implementing and managing a Tenable Nessus environment.
- Collaborating with teams to ensure security compliance and incident response.
- Utilizing AWS or Azure infrastructure in a security-focused capacity.
- Documenting security processes and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in security engineering and management.
- At least 4 years of experience with Tenable Nessus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS or Azure in a security role.
- Advanced understanding of AWS and Azure architectural principles.
- Proven experience in handling security incidents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools such as RSA Security Analytics, Symantec Bluecoat, and Cisco FirePower.
- Experience with cloud technologies and project management methodologies, including SAFe and Agile.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, or Security+.
