About the Team
Our Enterprise Architect team operates within the oCIO Solution Consulting (Presales) division, serving as a vital resource for Global Revenue (Sales). We collaborate with organizations across North America, assisting them in evaluating and selecting Workday as their technology partner. Our primary interactions are with CIOs, CTOs, and Business Stakeholders, where we explore how Workday can enhance their digital strategies and transform their Financial and HCM processes.

As experts in our Technology Platform, which underpins our Core Financial and HCM applications, Workday Enterprise Architects partner with clients to demonstrate how Workday can deliver genuine business value, meet critical requirements, and highlight our unique technological advantages.

About the Role

We are in search of an Enterprise Architect with a specialization in AI technologies to address the increasing demands for Generative AI, LLM, and traditional ML solutions from our clients. In this client-facing position, you will communicate the vision and value of Workday AI, showcasing our distinct approach, the fundamental principles of Responsible AI (RAI), and our future roadmap that builds on our extensive portfolio of models currently in production.

You will be recognized as a thought leader in this evolving domain, contributing to the development of persuasive pre-sales presentations, viewpoints, demonstrations, and enabling other Enterprise Architects within the team. Ideal candidates will possess substantial experience in Core Business Applications, particularly in ERP Financials and/or Human Capital Management.

Responsibilities:
  • Craft and deliver engaging presentations, software demonstrations, and webinars that illustrate the value proposition of Workday AI.
  • Support sales initiatives by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Workday Technology & AI and addressing inquiries.
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions alongside sales to identify qualifying questions, understand challenges, current architecture, and future aspirations.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AI.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Marketing, and Product & Technology leaders to introduce new AI capabilities to the market.
  • Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
About You

Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence and skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear business value? Are you eager to assist organizations in leveraging AI to achieve their strategic objectives?

Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of technical expertise in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Cloud Architectures, preferably within ERP Financials and/or Human Capital Management.
  • 4+ years of experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences in both in-person and virtual settings.
Other Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience with contemporary cloud AI/ML concepts and best practices (Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, ML Security, RAI).
  • Demonstrated experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, ideally in Data/AI.
  • Familiarity with Workday application architecture and platform is highly advantageous.
  • Experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences in both in-person and online meetings.
  • Background in value selling, Demo2Win, or Solution Consulting Methodologies is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
