Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records by processing accounts receivable and payable transactions.
  • Track payments, post ACH and cash receipts, prepare aging analysis reports, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Generate sales commission reports and monitor customer account activity to ensure timely payments.
  • Process vendor invoices, perform accounts payable functions, and obtain necessary approvals for payments.
  • Review and verify invoices, bills, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness before recording them in the system.
  • Perform expense coding, matching, and accurate data entry of AP invoices into accounting software.
  • Process expense reports, ensuring all receipts are obtained and reconciled before submission for approval.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and statements with internal records, investigate discrepancies, and maintain clear communication with vendors.
  • Maintain records for fixed assets, tooling, and perform month-end physical inventory counts.
  • Create financial reports using Excel and ERP systems to support management decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
