Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing departments, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
- Collaborate with our scheduling team to develop and implement production schedules that meet our business commitments.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Provide operational and support plans for employees, setting clear objectives and providing necessary resources and tools.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive equipment preventive maintenance program.
- Champion and participate in our company's safety and lean programs.
- Improve our safety recordable rate through heightened awareness, safety audits, and improvements in housekeeping.
- Enhance the customer experience by ensuring product quality, reducing costs, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Work closely with our project management and sales teams to ensure smooth job updates and scheduling.
- Experience with a print industry ERP system, with Pace being a plus.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite.
- Exposure to ISO certification a plus.
- B.S. degree in Print Management or equivalent business experience and training.
- At least 10 years of progressive pertinent experience with progressive responsibility managing staff and resources.
- Broad knowledge of the commercial printing, bindery, and finishing industries.
