Job Summary:

The City of Palo Alto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Division Manager to lead our citywide recruitment and talent acquisition efforts. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for designing, directing, and evaluating a comprehensive recruitment program that attracts and retains top talent for the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet the city's staffing needs
• Collaborate with department directors to forecast staffing requirements and develop workforce continuity plans
• Direct and oversee the development of staff within the Human Resources division, including performance appraisals, development plans, and performance improvement
• Stay informed on industry best practices and maintain expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition
• Develop and implement recruitment-specific training and development programs for staff
• Manage the implementation and review of data analytics and performance metrics within the division

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
• Three to five years of experience at a management or senior level within Human Resources
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
