Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at The Village Active Life Plan Community. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine and other kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed to support our culinary team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a retirement community or similar setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
