About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Village Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Strategy: Develop and implement a food strategy that drives commercial returns and meets the needs of our guests.
  • Kitchen Operations: Ensure that all aspects of kitchen activity are coordinated to create a professional, safe, hygienic, and cost-effective environment.
  • Team Management: Establish and maintain clear lines of communication within the kitchen operations and with Front of House staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food items are delivered, handled, cooked, and served to company specification to drive quality and value that ensures great guest experiences.
  • Performance Management: Use KPIs to benchmark individual team members' performance in terms of sales.
  • Staffing and Budgeting: Review wage cost and ensure staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive conversion and in line with budget.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to food hygiene regulations and H&S procedures according to FRESH, HACCP, and EHO directives.
