- Ensure that all documents are correctly formatted, stored, and filed for easy access.
- Draft, edit, and format various types of documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, process workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Review and analyze existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Ensure that all documentation follows the organization's style and branding guidelines.
- Identify gaps or areas of improvement in existing documentation.
- Track document versions and revisions, ensuring the most current versions are in use.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
- Provide training to staff on document management systems and processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for document-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as IT, legal, operations, and HR, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate changes or updates to documentation clearly and efficiently across relevant teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in document management, technical writing, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with document management systems, such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar.
